膽固醇是臨床生化檢查的重要指標。正常情況下，由人體肝臟合成和從食物中攝取的膽固醇會轉(zhuǎn)化為細胞膜的成分，使血液中的膽固醇濃度保持恒定。當肝臟嚴重病變時，膽固醇水平下降。在黃疸性梗阻和腎病綜合征患者中，膽固醇水平往往升高。 Cholesterol is an important indicator of clinical biochemical examination. Under normal circumstances, the cholesterol synthesized by the body in the liver and taken from food will be converted into a component of cell membranes, and keep the concentration of cholesterol in the blood constant .
